There was no bar or restaurant in this hotel and as the receptionist did not speak English he could not direct us to the nearest place to eat and drink, which was a shame as we arrived late, tired and hungry and did not really want to roam the town looking for somewhere. We did ask for a first floor no smoking room and got a ground floor smokers room. ...more

Generell hatte ich mir für Hockenheim wohl zuviel erwartet. Das Ramada ist untere Mittelklasse. Es gab an der Bar nicht mal mehr ein Bier für Spätankömmlinge, auch nichts zu essen. Die Empfehlung an der Rezeption war ein Pizza-Bringdienst mit Stehtischen, da alle Restaurants schon geschlossen hatten und "Erfahrungsgemäß" auch sehr früh schließen. Beim nächsten mal nehm ich lieber morgens ein paar km von Mannheim in Kauf... ...more
