If, after conclusion of the contract, it is genuinely impossible to hold the event to be held at the hotel due to conditions and/or restrictions imposed by the authorities subsequent to conclusion of the contract in connection with the spread of SARS-CoV-2 (in particular measures pursuant to the Infection Protection Act and/or general orders or directives restricting the number of participants), the event may be cancelled or rebooked free of charge up to two weeks before the start of the event.

This regulation applies equally where a majority of the event participants are de facto prevented from attending due to official travel and/or stay-at-home restrictions. There is also a two-week deadline for receipt of the cancellation or rebooking notification.

The prerequisite for cancellation and/or rebooking free of charge is the timely receipt by the hotel of a cancellation notification or rebooking request in writing (by email or post) and its confirmation by the hotel.

Free rebooking is subject to the condition that a mutually feasible replacement date is found within the 12 months following the originally agreed start of the event.

For cancellations and/or rebooking requests received later than two weeks before the start of the event, the contractually agreed cancellation and rebooking fees will apply.
