I really like this hotel. It's the second time I've stayed and both times it's been a good experience. As I said there may be cheaper hotels around and there are certainly many more expensive ones, but for the convenience of location, facilities and comfort, I would always choose this hotel when visiting Salzburg.

It was very nice but we were surprised to have to pay almost four euros for a coffee in the lobby on the morning we departed. Also, we had requested a wake-up call for 3:30 am but never received it.

Solid product, lovely friendly staff who speak excellent English and happy to help with a smile where they can. Rooms are well appointed. The only water in the sink and shower didn’t get very hot though, I’m guessing the hotel has the water regulated to a certain temperature for eco purposes. Was ok to wash hands and shower but as someone who loves a hot shower I wasn’t able to get one - but warm enough to shower.
