The barrier-free H+ Hotel Mannheim is a 3-star hotel with 62 comfortable double rooms. In the mornings, a varied breakfast buffet awaits you, while the bar is open in the evenings. The hotel is centrally located, and is within walking distance of many of the city’s attractions. We have ten parking spaces for guests arriving by car.

Facing the quiet courtyard on request

The 62 guest rooms are all equipped as double rooms. Wifi Internet access and Sky Sport is included in every room, and facilities also include a desk and telephone. In addition to this, the Superior rooms also offer a bathtub, and are located on the quiet inner courtyard side of the building.

Central and convenient

The H+ Hotel Mannheim lies on the south-eastern outskirts of the city centre, which was planned in the 17th century and laid out in a grid pattern. The hotel is less than five minutes’ walk from the main train station, and approximately fifteen minutes’ walk from Marktplatz. If you are arriving by car, the H+ Hotel Mannheim is directly accessible from the inner ring road, and parking is provided.

“Good location for business and tourism”

Barockschloss Mannheim – residence of the electoral princes

Mannheim Palace, built in 1750, was home to the electoral princes (or “Kurfürsten”) of the Palatinate. After the Palace of Versailles, it is the largest Baroque building in Europe. The façade is a full 440 metres long. The palace museum has an exhibition on the Baroque style and the life of the electoral princes. It is just ten minutes’ walk from the H+ Hotel Mannheim.

Jesuitenkirche –a Baroque masterpiece

The Baroque Jesuit Church in Mannheim dates back to 1760, and was the court church of the electoral princes. Points of interest include the crossing beneath the dome and the magnificent red sandstone façade. The interior is dominated by the colours white, gold, light green and pink, and its late Baroque splendour makes a real impression. It is approximately ten minutes’ walk from the H+ Hotel Mannheim.

Friedrichsplatz – home to the Wasserturm

The semicircular Friedrichsplatz is adorned with a fountain, water features, porticos and gardens in the Art Nouveau style, and is surrounded by  arcade houses, the Kunsthalle museum of modern art, and the “Rosengarten” festival hall. In the centre lies the city’s landmark, the water tower dating from 1889. You can walk to the square in ten minutes from the H+ Hotel Mannheim.

Luisenpark – space for free time and relaxation

The Luisenpark is Mannheim’s largest park. The “Untere Luisenpark” is a horticultural monument in the English landscape style. There is an entrance charge for the “Obere Luisenpark”, which in addition to the wonderful park landscape also offers a farm, an aquarium, aviaries, playgrounds, and barbecue facilities. It is approximately 15 minutes’ walk from the H+ Hotel Mannheim.

Schloss Schwetzingen and its Baroque gardens

Schwetzingen Palace is a summer residence famed for its Baroque gardens. The gardens include allegorical elements and the Enlightenment “Garden of Reason” with its ancient temples and oriental mosque, as well as artificial ruins, pergolas, fountains, a bath house and an orangery. The drive from the H+ Hotel Mannheim takes around 20 minutes.
