I had booked and prepaid my stay in advance (189,19eur).
On arrival I paid the city tax 6,88eur with my Visa card and the transaction showed in my Wallet immediately.
The hotel had some issues with card payments on Friday and asked me to email a screen capture of my 6 euro payment, which I did. Still our room keys were inactivated without any notice and we had to go to reception to re-activate those again. I showed the 6 euro payment transaction receipt AGAIN - YES it had been deducted from my card as shown before and got the keys working again.
To me it felt like I was a criminal, when the problem was in hotel systems and not mine. And all this bad service for 6 euros payment (which was paid successfully already at check in!). I shall stay in another hotel on my next trip.
