Stiftskirche Church Herrenberg – the “Glucke“
Go for a lovely stroll through Herrenberg’s historic Old Town, with its lovingly restored craftsman’s houses and venerable buildings. The Stiftskirche Herrenberg church is the landmark of the city. The late-Gothic hall church is known by locals as the “Glucke” or mother-hen, because of its dominant position on a hill.

Stuttgart TV tower - landmark of the state capital
The 216 metre high TV and viewing tower was opened in 1956, and represents a new era in tower building, both structurally and architecturally. It also ranks as one of Germany’s cultural monuments.

Staatsgalerie Stuttgart – multi-facetted art exhibition
The art museum is one of Germany’s most popular museums. Displays include European works of art from the 14th to the 21st century, as well as the Avant Garde movement after 1945. There are also regular special exhibitions.

Altes Schloss (Old Castle) Stuttgart – historic monument with museum
The former 10th century moated castle was once the seat of Counts and Dukes, and now houses the Württemberg state museum, with a wealth of treasures from times past.

“Wilhelma“ – botanic-zoological garden
You can admire around 11,500 types of animals and 6,000 kinds of plants from all over the world in the “Wilhelma”. The 30 hectare area is in the historic castle grounds in the district of Bad Cannstatt, around 40 minutes’ drive from the RAMADA Hotel Stuttgart-Herrenberg.
