Aragon Christen is the new General Manager of the H+ Hotel & SPA Engelberg

Engelberg/Bad Arolsen, June 18, 2025 – Aragon Christen is taking over the position of General Manager for the H+ Hotel & SPA Engelberg with immediate effect. The H+ Hotel & SPA Engelberg has 256 beds in the heart of the popular Swiss vacation region and features a 200-square-meter wellness area and seven conference rooms. “The H+ Hotel & SPA Engelberg has international flair and is also rooted in the region. This combination appeals to vacationers and conference guests alike. This makes the hotel an exciting new field of activity for me,” explains the new General Manager enthusiastically.

The Swiss native is an experienced professional in the mountain and resort hotel industry. Christens previously managed the Belle Epoque Hotel Victoria in Kandersteg, the Hotel Meierhof in Davos, and the Hotel Europa in St. Moritz. At these hotels, the 46-year-old deepened his experience in hotel management and team leadership and demonstrated his skills in revenue management.

The H+ Hotel & SPA Engelberg is located near the mountain railway to the Titlis massif, where guests can take a cable car up to an altitude of 3,020 meters. Hotel guests and external visitors can enjoy the indoor pool, two saunas, and various massages in the spa. The Titlis restaurant serves typical dishes from the mountain region: guests can choose between homemade Älplermagronen with spicy mountain cheese, a hearty cheese fondue made from regional produce, and crispy fried brown trout, for example. “The diverse region with 360 km of hiking trails, 14 bike trails, and almost 100 km of ski slopes is exciting in itself. Together with the H+ Hotel & SPA Engelberg, I and my 46-strong team are implementing new ideas for our leisure and conference guests,” says Aragon Christen.
